Feminist Methodologies Symposium April 19-23, 2023

Feminist Methodologies: symposium in the context of the PhD seminar held by Elke Krasny at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. The working symposium connected public-facing lectures and workshops with and by PhD students seeking to work out how feminist methodologies are shared across fields of study including architecture, critical pedagogies, museums, contemporary art and curating, public space, and dimensions of urban development and urban transformation. Emerging from practice, from activism, feminist movements, different lineages of feminist epistemologies and theories, from social reproduction theories and care ethics, feminist methodologies today present a dynamic field that responds to the contemporary conjuncture, global conflicts, including conflicts within and through feminisms, and planetary concerns.
