fb event

The exhibition Critical Care. Architecture for a Planet in Crisis deals with man-made ecological and social catastrophes and the resulting re-thinking of architecture and urbanism.
On 24 February, the DAZ will host a discussion on how a new form of architecture and care can make the planet livable again. Projects and ideas of a “caring architecture” will be presented that rethink the relationship between people and landscapes, support collective commitment and promote the use of resource-saving materials.

With: Elke Krasny (Curator of Critical Care and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna), Rosario Talevi (architect), Phoebe Giannisi (architect, poet) and Zissis Kotionis (architect, writer and artist) and Anupama Kundoo (architect, Anupama Kundoo Architects), moderated by Matthias Böttger, DAZ.

The exhibition will be open from 5 pm.

„Critical Care” was curated by Angelika Fitz and Elke Krasny in 2019 for Az W Architekturzentrum Wien (Az W).

Exhibition: until 22.3.2020, Wed– Sun 3–8 PM
DAZ, Wilhelmine-Gemberg-Weg 6, 2nd courtyard, 10179 Berlin-Mitte
